Meet the Irizarry Family!

Wilson and Jeimy have operated Irizarry Martial Arts Academy (formerly known as Keiko Shin - Land O Lakes) since 2017. They love their community and helping families find a place for their children to learn fundamental character traits for success in life.

Their son, Wilson Jr, is a karate student at the dojo and loves having all of his karate friends!

Meet Our Sensei

Sensei William

Sensei William has been practicing karate for over 26 years and achieved his black belt in GoJu Ryu karate in 1998. After enlisting in the US Coast Guard, he was transferred from Puerto Rico to Florida, where he started training in Shotokan. He achieved his black belt in Shotokan Karate in 2017. He trains with his son and daughter at our studio, along with the support of his wife.

Sensei Elvis

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Science with a minor in ABA (Applied behavioral analysis) focused on kids.

  • Master’s Degree in Biomedical Tech.

  • He’s a Cat Dad of two

  • He currently trains BJJ

  • He loves Sushi, cooking, basketball, and soccer

Sensei Sabina

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Political and Science and world culture and languages.

  • She’s currently going to law school

  • She works as a sub teacher in Pasco county.

  • She likes crocheting

  • 6 Years in Jr USA Team

  • 4 Years in Senior USA Team

  • 18 Total Years of Karate Experience
